Born June 24, outside, in a den momma dug for them. 9 pups, 6 boys, 3 girls. pick of the litter is already taken. Half Akbash and half Anatolian shepherd...working parents, pups are raised with horses, goats, poultry, cats and children. I keep them until 10 weeks, unless you want them at 8. (extra time with parents and livestock is better, IMO) Pups will have age appropriate shots and a shot record for your vet.
Parents are VERY friendly but take their work seriously. These are NOT dogs for town. They will climb fences, dig under fences, and destroy your yard, I promise you. I have some pups from last years litter that are house dogs, but they are on big ranches or properties. If you have never had a livestock guardian breed, please let me help you make an informed decision. They are beautiful but can be REAL pains in the rear. My pups are ALWAYS welcome to come back home, regardless of age, if they are not what you needed.
The males are around 150 pounds full grown, female are 100 -120. The momma of these pups has killed coyotes & fox. Some of the pics are of last years litter, some are current babies. The 2 dogs cuddling by the horse are momma and dad, the dog with the my son & the mare & foal is daddy. I am taking new pics of the current litter today and will be posting them ASAP.
